Who delivers the treatment
Treatment is led by a doctor at the Han's clinic. The microbiota test and the preparation itself are made by the research group of Jialan, the manufacturer that runs its own laboratory and donor bank. Below — who these people are and what backs their titles.

Graduated from Gannan Medical University. For more than forty years he has worked on complex and hard-to-diagnose gastroenterology cases and on endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases. He has served as director of a digestive endoscopy centre and as deputy chief physician of a tertiary hospital.
Han's is a multi-speciality hospital: its medical committee has 26 specialists, and most of them work in paediatric rehabilitation. This page lists the people who work on microbiota transplantation, not every doctor of the clinic.

Jialan's laboratory is in Hangzhou. The stool sample is couriered there; the finished product arrives frozen, packed in dry ice.
The instruments are listed from photographs of the laboratory in the company's materials. There are no model or serial numbers there, so we do not quote any.
A microbiota test is a genetic reading of gut bacteria, compared afterwards against a large database. The database used belongs to Fudan University: out of roughly eight million microbiota samples collected in China, about six million are held there. The larger the database, the more precise the comparison — one person's data is matched against a large body of records.
The database is curated by Wang Jingsu (王京苏), professor at Fudan University.
